How can I pay for my move?

Manley Movers accepts, pretty much any form of payment you would like to pay with. Cash, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, check, and all credit and debit cards.

How much does a move typically cost?

Every move is on an hourly rate and the rate depends how many movers and your location. There’s a 2-hour minimum on every job. Really depends on the size of your move but a general rule of thumb is the more you do the more you save! The more we do the more you pay!

What equipment do you provide?

We provide everything that you could possibly need from 2-wheel dollies, 4-wheel dollies, 6-wheel dollys, rubber floor runners, moving pads, and tools. We can also provide materials like boxes, shrink wrap, tape, mattress bags, and any materials you could need!

What size truck will I need?

This really depends on how much stuff you got. A small 10ft truck is a 1 bedroom. A 15ft truck is a 2 bedroom. 20ft truck is a 3 bedroom. The biggest truck is 26ft and this is a 3 to 4-bedroom home. Pods or containers are generally for a 2 to 3-bedroom home. If you have some furniture that is tall and can’t stand up then it will have to lay down and this could affect getting everything to fit. Give us a call and we can help you with figuring it all out!

How can I save money on my move?

Packing all your boxes on your own and correctly is the biggest money saver! You want to make sure you don’t pack your boxes too heavy and make sure the boxes are filled to the top so they don’t start to cave in. 2 or 3 boxes are much better than having 1 heavy box! Check out all our videos on how to pack each room in your home. The videos are step-by-step instructions and cover every single item that could be in your home. Get all your boxes stacked up 3 to 4 high and lined them up on the walls so they are ready for a dolly to come and pick them up. This will also help with keeping access to the rest of the home and furniture. You want to make sure everything is accessible and ready for us to move! Taking your beds apart and putting them back together on your own will also save you a lot of money. Remember time is money and the more you do the more you save!
